Knights of the Month: Dec. 2020 and Jan. 2021

Thank you to Representative Kevin Coleman and Governor Gretchen Whitmer for this beautiful tribute to our council from the State of Michigan!
During the 2018-2019 year, our council donated over 2,000 lbs of food to local food pantries! And provided over 175 hours of volunteer labor at food kitchens.
Grand Knight Jeffrey Burden and Financial Secretary Jerome Duhr are shown with the Knights of Columbus Food for Families award presented to our council.
In appreciation for all they do for our council and our parish. Today, the 13th Day of December 2018 the Monsignor Russell E. Kohler Council of the Knights of Columbus grants the Honorary Knight title to Cheri Filipiak
We finally caught up with SK, Tim Kenner who was the final Knight of the Quarter from the 2017-2018 Fraternal Year! Congratulations Tim!
Mike Karpinski stepped up this year and took on the job of our council’s Worthy Recorder.
The Konrad family is involved in many church activities. Ken and his wife, Annmarie are Extra Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion at Mass every week. Ken is a council officer and the leader of our Fifth Sunday Rosary Team.
Robert Cadotte was named our Knight of the Year at our final membership meeting for the 2017-2018 fraternal year! Grand Knight Robert Schoenborn presented him with the award noting his dedication to the council and being present at many activities when it may not always be easy for him to do so.
Congrats to our Knight of the Quarter; Gerald Pietszak (left) for his leadership in our last fundraising effort along with his new role as our treasurer. We had a urgent need and Gerry came through!
