A Chalice for Deacon Derik Peterman
Pope John XXIII Assembly presented our brother Knight and Council Seminarian Deacon Derik Peterman with a golden Chalice to celebrate his upcoming ordination to the priesthood in June.
Deacon Derik Peterman is flanked by our council’s Worthy Chancellor John Filipiak and Worthy Deputy Grand Knight Bill Wendling.
2018 Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser
Our 2018 Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser was a smash success. We raised over $1,100 for our Knights of Columbus charitable activities and was also able to give our council seminarian, Deacon Derik Peterman $500.00!

Congratulations to Deacon Derik Peterman, who was just ordained at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit. We are honored to call Deacon Derik a brother Knight. Also Congratulations to his two classmates who were also ordained this morning, John McKenzie and Adam Nowak.
Our Worthy Recorder, Jeff Burden was able to attend the Mass and our council chaplain and parish pastor, Fr. Ken Mazur, PIME was one of the priests helping the bishop today! Also, Deacon Jim Hensel was also in attendance this morning as is pictured with Derik below.
