Our parish was asked to help Newburg United Methodist Church during their Hospitality week. Our Knights of Columbus council took the lead for the dinner and served a Mexican fiesta! Here are the men of our council prepping the food the night before at the parish.
The night of the dinner at Newburg United Methodist Church we had a great turn out of people will to work! Our Helping Hands Hospitality dinner was a huge success. We passed out finger rosaries and prayer cards to all the guests and our Worthy Advocate and Lecturer Jerry Borycz lead a talk on the topic of “the Potter and Clay” to the guests after dinner.


Our Deputy Grand Knight, SK William Wendling presenting Angels’ Place with a check from our Fall 2018 Tootsie Roll Drive. Angels’ Place provides people-centered services, including homes and professional support, for adults with developmental disabilities.

Our 2018 Coats for Kids Drive produced over 200 coats and lots of scarfs and hats for children in our community! We’d like to say a big thank you to the parishioners of St. Mary, Cause of Our Joy, AAA Life: Document Control Center and Tiffany Welkam AWMA, and of course to our brother Knights and their families for all the donations! Merry Christmas!






Our council came together to celebrate Christmas and we had a fantastic time!







Deputy Grand Knight William Wendling, our MI Drive chairman, reports we received a total of $1,076.01 for our annual Fall Tootsie Roll Drive! We later received a $100.00 donation. This brings the total to $1,181.86! Way to go, everyone, I’m sure everyone at Angels’ Place will appreciate it!

Fr. Ken writes, “tonight, we will have a time of prayer for the church, the victim-survivors of abuse, the sanctification of bishops, priests and all those who work in the church.”
“Feel free to stop in for a few moments of prayer, or stay the whole time.”
“…the Eucharist will be exposed in adoration. We will start with a Bible reading and then continue in silence. We will ask that no one prays aloud as to give everyone the chance to pray as they wish.”
Our Knights of Columbus council is honored to donate prayer books to be used during this important prayer services.

Our 2018 Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser was a smash success. We raised over $1,100 for our Knights of Columbus charitable activities and was also able to give our council seminarian, Deacon Derik Peterman $500.00!




We are honored to have three of our brother Knights teaching faith formation this year!


Our council made the online version of Knights in Action at KofC.org. They also said the plan on publishing it in Columbia in the coming months. We’ll see…
