Our council had a great time helping out at the parish picnic this afternoon!

Join us at the Texas Roadhouse in Westland this Monday at 4pm!

Gerald Pietszak celebrated his one year anniversary as a member of the Knights of Columbus. In that time, he earned the Shining Armor Award.

Mike Karpinski stepped up this year and took on the job of our council’s Worthy Recorder.

The Konrad family is involved in many church activities. Ken and his wife, Annmarie are Extra Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion at Mass every week. Ken is a council officer and the leader of our Fifth Sunday Rosary Team.

Brother Knights Bill Wendling, Doug Cyr, and Gerry Pietszak stopped by Angels’ Place to deliver a check for $815.00. We raised the money from our spring MI Drive (Tootsie Roll Drive).
Angels’ Place provides people-centered services, including homes and professional support, for adults with developmental disabilities.
Angels’ Place homes offer a Christian family environment of love and compassion, coupled with an atmosphere of acceptance, dignity, well-being, and the potential for personal growth and acceptance.
We are proud to support Angels’ Place and have donated thousands of dollars over the past few years alone!
Congratulations to Kamryn Marie Kimble on her baptism at Mass today! We were proud to present her with a certificate of welcome and a Casey Bear!

Robert Cadotte was named our Knight of the Year at our final membership meeting for the 2017-2018 fraternal year! Grand Knight Robert Schoenborn presented him with the award noting his dedication to the council and being present at many activities when it may not always be easy for him to do so.

The light rain didn’t keep our council from passing out ice cream after Mass this afternoon!

Our council was honored to be a part of the Westland-Wayne American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
James Wolf was known for his infectious smile, his commitment to serving others, and his love for the Knights of Columbus. As a recent high school graduate, he even inspired his father, Bob, to become a Knight. Shortly after becoming a Knight, James joined the Army. Sent to Iraq with the 52nd Engineer Battalion, he was killed on November 6, 2003, when an IED exploded near his convoy. In the face of this tragic loss, his family found solace in the love shown to them by fellow Knights and their pride over James’ faith and sacrifice.
